Keep in mind under the regulations on the employment of foreign workers (work permits), it is illegal to ask your FDWs to help you in your family's homes or your own businesses and shops. Employers must comply with the conditions of the work permit. According to the law, your FDW can only do housework and housework in the address indicated on the work permit card. Please note the following: A FDW cannot work in his employer's business, even if the business is run from home. An FDW must not work at a residence other than the address indicated on your work permit. An FDW is not allowed to work for other employers or run your own business, even on your days off. In the FDW Compulsory Settlement Program (SIP), your FOW have been informed of the above. Please remember your FDW must comply with work-pass conditions while working in Singapore. Employers don't make sure their FDWs work domestic to work only at the registered work permit address, may face a financial penalty of up to $10,000. they can too be prohibited from hiring FDW.
